The Story Behind Boochie’s
Boochie’s Kitchen is more than catering to me — it is family, legacy, and the feeling of home.
The name comes from my grandmother, Clara, affectionately known as Boochie. Some of my strongest memories are of Sundays at her house — greens on the stove, cornbread in the oven, laughter in the room, and everybody feeling welcome.
In 2018, what started as selling plates from home grew into something much bigger. People kept coming back, and over time Boochie’s Kitchen grew from those first plates into catering private celebrations, corporate gatherings, milestone events, and ongoing food-service needs.

That saying still reflects the heart of what we do today — food prepared with care, thoughtful presentation, and service that makes people feel looked after.
Our food is rooted in the flavors and comfort I grew up with, while our menus are thoughtfully created for the people, occasions, and experiences we serve. From intimate celebrations to corporate events, buffet service, drop-off catering, and custom food experiences, every event is approached with intention.
Because for me, it has never been only about feeding people. It is about creating the kind of moment people remember.
